![]() ![]() ![]() I would love to have an option (in Cut2D or Cut3D) to import 3D DXF path files and to have a (new) tool that creates the profile toolpath direct along these 3D vectors. ![]() Please let me know if it is still not clear.īasically I just want to draw 3D paths in my CAD and use this 3D path in Vectric Software to make my 3D GCode toolpath. So I would like to do the following:ġ.) Draw 3D vectors (path) in the CAD in X, Y and Z axis (see picture above).ģ.) Import these vectors into Vectric Software (Cut2D or Cut3D)Ĥ.) Create toolpath from these vectors (like the tool >Create Profile Toolpath)ĥ.) Save the G Code and import it in Mach3.Ĥ.) Mill my toolpath along the X, Y and Z axis. What I would like to do is to mill a ceratain toolpath along the X, Y, and Z axis as defined in the 3D DXF path. I usually do the following:Ĥ.) Create the toolpath from these vectors (use the tool >Create Profile Toolpath)ĥ.) Save the GCode and import it in Mach3.Ĥ.) Mill or carve my toolpath along the X and Y axis. So far I use Cut2D to mill certain path that I draw in my CAD.
